Special American Business Internship Training Program

SABIT: PROMOTING PARTNERSHIPS, GENERATING RESULTS

The emerging markets of Eurasia and South Asia present unique opportunities for U.S. companies and Eurasian and South Asian economies alike. The Special American Business Internship Training (SABIT) program builds partnerships and provides technical assistance by training business leaders from these regions in U.S. business practices. These training programs directly support Eurasian and South Asian economic and civil society development by encouraging market-based reforms, while generating valuable export and investment opportunities for U.S. industry.

While these markets are full of opportunity, there are an equal number of risks that must be considered. A sound understanding of the local market environment is instrumental in managing these risks. SABIT enables U.S. companies to develop this local knowledge by meeting with, training, and establishing relationships with Eurasian and South Asian management professionals.

SABIT manages a training program that turns partnerships into results.

Important News

Thank you for your continued support of the SABIT Program. As we noted earlier this month, the health, safety, and well-being of our clients, partners, and staff is our top priority. In light of the developing COVID-19 outbreak, the International Trade Administration has decided to indefinitely postpone The Clinics: Ambulatory Healthcare Program (May 9-23, 2020).

Our team will provide updates and will continue to accept applications and to interview program candidates through the end of May so that we can select a delegation when we have rescheduled the program. We recognize that this schedule change may affect your near-term business plans, and we hope that making this adjustment now will allow you to make other plans.
