Universal Postal Union
Since September, 2006, OFII has participated in the Postal Financial Services Group (PFSG).
The Universal Postal Union is the oldest UN organization with over 191 member countries. This is the organization that facilitates the international delivery of mail.
The Postal Financial Services Group is building a worldwide postal financial network that provides access to financial services, particularly international electronic fund transfers, at an affordable cost. The PFSG also provides the Postal Administrations of member countries with the necessary technical and financial assistance to introduce or modernize other financial services offerings.
