Supply Chain Team
The Supply Chain Team is led by Deputy Director Bruce Harsh.
What we do:
The Supply Chain Team in the Industry & Analysis' Supply Chain, Business and Professional Services office provides expert guidance on industry analysis, competitiveness, trade policy and negotiations regarding a broad variety of services industries including: express delivery, trucking, rail, maritime trade, cold chain and distribution (retail, wholesale, franchising, direct marketing, and direct selling) that can make the supply chain infrastructure more competitive.
As part of the lead Commerce office for services trade policy, the Supply Chain Team ensures that small, medium and large firms’ interests are conveyed during bilateral and regional trade negotiations. The team has taken the lead in building cross-disciplinary communication to analyze the economic effects of varied regulatory and infrastructure impediments on the U.S. economy and various industry sectors.
The team is also responsible for two Industry Trade Advisory Committees, Distribution Services, and Services and Financial Services; and the newly formed Advisory Committee on Supply Chain Competitiveness.
