James F. Keppler
Vice President, Integrated Supply Chain & Quality
James F. Keppler is Vice President, Integrated Supply Chain and Quality for Whirlpool Corporation and is responsible for the North American manufacturing, logistics, planning, trade partner customer service, and quality functions in North America. In his previous assignment with Whirlpool, Keppler served as Vice President, Manufacturing with responsibility for Whirlpool’s 13 appliance manufacturing facilities in North America. Prior to Whirlpool, Keppler served in various manufacturing leadership roles within the automotive industry, most recently serving as Sr. Vice President, North American Operations for International Automotive Components where he was responsible for 32 manufacturing facilities located in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
A 25 year manufacturing veteran, Keppler proudly leads the execution of Whirlpool’s “Invested in America” strategy which includes the investment of our $1 billion in Whirlpool’s US facilities over the past 5 years. Keppler also has accountability for the strategic development of global supply chain initiatives to drive operating excellence across the global regions at Whirlpool.
Keppler graduated from GMI Engineering and Management Institute, Flint, MI with a master's degree in Manufacturing Management and Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. In 2015, Keppler was the recipient of Purdue University’s School of Engineering Technology Distinguished Technology Alumni Award.
Keppler currently serves on various charitable and industry boards. He is currently Vice Chairman for the Lakeshore Excellence Foundation which supports the local public schools. He also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Whirlpool Foundation and United Way of Southwestern Michigan. In addition, he represents Whirlpool Corporation on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Manufacturers.
Keppler resides in Stevensville, MI with his wife Chantel and sons, Bradley and Matthew.
