GEM provides manufacturing services for complex electromechanical assemblies and systems. Tim’s responsibility includes managing GEM’s three (3) locations; Dayton, Philadelphia, PA and Bangkok, Thailand.
Tim began his career at GEM in 1976 after graduating from Patterson Co-op High School, as an apprentice toolmaker, 8 years later he tried sales and estimating where he found sales to be his true calling. He has held various positions in sales such as Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Vice President, Sales and Marketing and starting in January 2015 was named President. Tim has continued his education by completing various programs such as Course for Presidents from Aileron, Course for Senior Managers from The Center for Entrepreneurial Education, Graduate of Business Master Certificate Program from Xavier University Consulting Group and Sandler Sales Training.
In 2014 Tim held the position of Chairman for the DRMA and currently serves as a DRMA board member, During the past decade Tim’s has been involved with various committees in the DRMA including, Marketing and Rebranding Committee, 2004– 2006 Advanced Manufacturing Technology Show Committee 2006 – 2008, Marketing Committee: 2008 – 2009, Workforce Development Committee: 2009 – 2010 and Workforce Development Fundraiser Chair: 2010. Today Tim is involved with developing a skilled trades program for veterans working with the Ohio Treasurers office, the VA center in Dayton and the DRMA.
