President's Export Council
The President's Export Council serves as the principal national advisory committee on international trade. The Council advises the President of government policies and programs that affect U.S. trade performance; promotes export expansion; and provides a forum for discussing and resolving trade-related problems among the business, industrial, agricultural, labor, and government sectors.

October 27, 2011 Next President’s Export Council Meeting to be held Wednesday, November 16
The next meeting of the President’s Export Council will convene its next meeting via live webcast on the Internet at http://whitehouse.gov/live. To learn more, please review the Federal Register Notice.
October 21, 2011 President Obama Signs the Trade Agreements with Korea, Colombia and Panama.
This morning, President Obama signed legislation implementing three job-supporting trade agreements with Korea, Colombia, and Panama. These trade agreements will help put Americans back to work and grow America’s economy.
Members of the Presidents Export Council, including PEC Chair Jim McNerney of Boeing, Vice-Chair Ursula Burns of Xerox, Andrew Liveris of the Dow Chemical Company, Jim Turley of Ernst & Young and Patricia Woertz of Archer Daniels Midland Company participated in the signings at the White House.
October 3, 2011 President Obama Submits Trade Agreements to Congress
The members of the President's Export Council strongly supported the passage of the pending trade agreements in a letter written to the President last Fall. President Obama submitted the agreements to Congress on October 3, 2011. Below, read more about the PEC members support of his action.
