U.S. Trade Finance Advisory Council Members
The Department of Commerce Trade Finance Advisory Council (TFAC) is comprised of up to 25 private-sector members representing a broad range of companies and organizations in terms of products and services, company size, and geographic location of both the source and destination of trade finance as well those from public policy organizations, economic development organizations, and academia.
In addition, the Chairman of the U.S. Export Import Bank (EXIM), and the Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA) (or their respective designees), will serve on the TFAC as ex officio, non-voting, members.
On Thursday, March 7, 2019, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross announced the appointment of 21 members to the Trade Finance Advisory Council (TFAC). The members represent commercial banks and other trade finance organizations, exporters, and academia.
