ITA Emblem Use Requests Outside the MDCP Context
The requirement of cooperator to use the ITA emblem ends at the conclusion of the MDCP project period. On this date the MDCP director no longer has delegated authority to allow the use of the ITA emblem. However, an organization that has completed its MDCP project, or any other organization, may request permission to use the ITA emblem. The process for approval involves more parties within the U.S. Department of Commerce and the documentation for each use is more involved. Accordingly, the process takes longer than the day or two that characterize the MDCP approvals of ITA emblem use. A table summarizing the requirements of post-MDCP-project ITA emblem use requests is set forth below.

Email the information as outlined above to Brad.Hess@trade.gov, who will initiate the concurrence process for considering requests to use the ITA emblem (see example request package).
