Quarterly Project Progress Reports (PPR)
As noted below, all cooperators use the same template for Part A1 and Part A2. Each cooperator has its own unique Part B. Once completed, each cooperator attaches Part A1 and Part B in its GrantsOnline quarterly PPR task. If the cooperator has exports to report that quarter, it also attaches the completed Part A2. After attaching Part A1 and B (and A2 if there are exports to report) the report must also be submitted in GrantsOnline. Here are detailed instructions for submitting reports in GrantsOnline.

Don't Let Tardy Participant Input Delay Reports
Most cooperators base their quarterly performance reports on information they receive from entities, usually companies, that participate in MDCP project activities. If a participant has not responded to a cooperator's request for results, the cooperator should not delay submission of its quarterly report. Information provided to a cooperator after it has submitted its quarterly report can be added to the results reported for the following quarter.
For example, a cooperator submits its report on November 28 for the quarter ended September 30. On November 29 Acme, a company participating in the MDCP project, notifies the cooperator that it had a $500,000 export sale during the quarter ended September 30. Rather than revise its report already submitted for the quarter ended September 30, the cooperator can simply include Acme's $500,000 export sale in its report for the next quarter, ending December 31. The export will be included with others that actually occurred during the quarter ended December 31 but the cooperator includes a note in its A2 report sheet that the sale actually occurred in the quarter ended September 30.
Final Performance Report
Within ninety (90) days of the end of the end fo the award period, each cooperator must submit a final performance report. Unlike the quarterly performance reports, this final report does not have a prescribed format. However, it is limited to four (4) pages. The final report is not intended to be a resubmission of all of the quarterly reports. Most cooperators find it helpful to address the following:
- Comparison of goals set forth in the application and work actually accomplished.
- Summary of what approaches and activities worked best, which were not as useful, and a brief explanation of why.
- Prognosis for sustaining/pursuing project goals and activities after the end of the funded MDCP project.
- Summary of the project's most significant achievements.
Write for the general public. Don't write for your ITA-MDCP team leader. Use plain English. Spell out acronyms. Don't assume that the reader has background knowledge. The reader could be a busy staffer on Capitol Hill or a member of the public.
The final report does not replace the report for the last quarter of the project period. The final report is to be submitted in addition to the last quarterly report.
Each cooperator posts its final report on Grants Online.
