American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association (AIANTA) | Donatello Osti, Milan-based staff of ITA's Commercial Service, introduces "Indian Country" tourism product at Showcase USA Italy 2017 in Napoli, Italy. Commercial Service organized this one-day event. AIANTA benefited by educating Italian travel agents about the opportunities for Italian travelers to tribal and other native-focused venues in the United States. Italy is an important travel market to the U.S. and the 12th largest internationally. | ||
National Center for Healthcare Leadership (NCHL)/ U.S. Cooperative for International Patient Programs (USCIPP) | Xiaoli Pan, CS Shanghai, and Huiling Shi, CS Beijing, join DC-based I&A industry specialist Lisa Huot, right, in Houston for a tour of Ben Taub Hospital.Their host is Dr. Kenneth Mattox, a trauma surgeon named Best Doctor in America five times, and head of the trauma department at Ben Taub.Matching international patients with the right care in the United States is both a difficult and delicate propostition. It is standard procedure for ITA staff worldwide to collaborate on helping cooperators achieve their MDCP project goals. | |||

Xavier Muthu educates U.S. firms about the market for non-replacement auto parts in the Gulf States, including his home base of Kuwait. Over the years of SEMA's MDCP project, Xavier's continued support for multiple activities has encouraged many U.S. firms to engage in this fruitful market. |

International District Energy Association (IDEA) | Ming-Ming Ma traveled from Beijing to Virginia for an IDEA-sponsored show to showcase U.S. technology. Ming-Ming developed relationships with U.S. firms. When U.S. firms know that ITA has staff abroad that know their industry, they find it less daunting to commit to exporting to new markets. | ||

Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI) | Moritz Holst hosts the U.S. MDCP team from OAI at the annual Airtec International Trade Fair in Frankfurt, Germany. U.S. firms recruited by OAI relied on Moritz' knowledge of the market and in-country contacts. |
